DNA from paraffin-embedded tissue

Hello,

We have tried a few different methods for preparing DNA (for PCR) from paraffin-embedded tissues. 
Appr. 60 % of the extractions works well, the rest are terrible even after several attempts.
We suspect that part of the problem is related to the tissue and not the method, but still:

Anyone out there know about a nice method?
