Hi, Stephan.

I think that up to 1mM of EDTA would not affect binding to much. Basicaly
addition of EDTA does not affect binding of 6-His tag to Ni-NTA at all :-),
but what it does affect is the binding Ni ions to NTA-agarose. So, by
adding EDTA you simply decrease amount of Ni ions boud to NTA-agarose.
Ni-NTA agorose supplied by QIAGEN contains 8-12 umol Ni2+/ml of the gel.
