Well, to check if our transfection into E. coli has worked, we resuspend
a small pellett in 15 ul ddH2O, boil them for 5 minutes at 95 Celsius,
spin them for 5 minutes at full speed and take 10 ul supernatant for
PCR. Works really well and should be ok for microtiter plates as well,
you don't really need that many cells.
