Transfection of cell suspensions

   I have in the past transfected monolayer cells, but I now need to 
transfect several cell lines that are in suspension.  I have found that 
transferring the cells from the 6 well dishes to the centrifuge tubes for 
the several washes that are necessary a real pain.  Is there a way of 
transfecting these cells that would avoid all these transfers?
