Hi! I used both Stratagene and Takara Long PCR kits . They seem both to work. However, I used a third one from BMB (Expand Long Template PCR system, cat. # 1681 834) and I think that it works even better than the aforementioned ones. Good Luck! Gamal E. Osman, Ph.D. gamal at u.washington.edu
