You should really consider whether it is economically reasonable
to buy an synthesizer instead of buying the oligos, in particular
as these became very cheap in the last few years.
1. How many oligo do you want to produce lets say in one year
2. Have you taken the man power into your calculation
3. Do you need one oligo at a time or many (the reagents are 
   stable only limited time
4. Do you often use special oligos (dig, biotin) that are
   more expensive when you buy them from external sources

Based on this you can calculate how many years you have to
do oligosynthesis until the machine has payed off.
