Hi There,
This method works and is in a PNAS paper, however:
we wrote a long article for this newsgroup on "homemade G***clean" and 
were very quickly contacted by the manufacturers saying " you can't call 
it that, and your in breach of copyright (or patent or something)"
SO, use it ! It works, it's cheap, but call it Jean Clener or something 
or you'll get some corporate non-lab types onto you !
