Dear netters. I am in the process of buying a thermocycler. The price is not to exceed 5,000.00 canadian $. I have 3 choices, a
Perkin Elmer demo unit (TC), an MJ research machine (intermediate size) and a Thermolyne (Amplicon). Can any one offer an advice
in this matter. I know that both Perkin Elmer and Thermolyne machines use a compressor-based cooling systems whereas MJ
research uses the Pelttier mechanism. I appreciate any help.
