Our lab is starting up rep-PCR for DNA fingerprinting of various types of pathogenic bacteria. We are in the process of purchasing primers and wanted to find out suggestions on recommendation for primer set-up. Should our primers be fully deprotected as well as desalted? Other recommedations for primer set up would also be appreciated.
