Glass fibers

I am looking for a source of glass fibers of the kind from which glass
fiber filters are made.  I've been grinding up glass fiber filters as a
silica source for GnHCl-based DNA purifications and it works very well
except I'm going through a lot of filters!!  Plain old fiber glass is too
thick.

Any help here is appreciated.  I've already called Whatman and they don't
sell such a thing.
