cleaning elec. cuvettes

Dan,

Our solution was to rinse the cuvettes with distilled water (we used a 
cuvette cleaner for UV-Vis cells), then immerse them in 70% ethanol in a 
laminar flow hood and let them dry overnight (open) in the hood with the 
UV lamp on.  The next morning, replace the caps and use them as usual.  
I am not sure how many times the cuvettes can be re-used.  I used the 
same batch of two dozen for 1.5 years and finished my post-doc before 
the cuvettes quit :-).
