B-Gal Staining

We have been attempting to X-Gal stain Day 20 Transgenic mice with 
little success. Our positive control is the kidney and this is not 
staining. We are using mouse fore-limb musculature as our sample. Does 
anybody have any tip/suggestions regarding fixation and processing ?
