Hello ,

a friend of mine has some problems to prepare DNA from Azalea. He tried as well
the flowers, the leaves, the root,... no succes. The main problem seems to be
polysaccharides or that's what he thinks it is. The DNA pellet is like a thick
gelly that cannot be used for any thing. An extraction with fenol did not seem
to help. Anybody out ther that is working with a related species and can give
some help?
Thanks a lot!
