Ab synth in bacteriophage

Whatever happened to the promising work of synthesizing Ab libraries in E
coli via phage? This technique was supposed to revolutionize to isolation
of Ab against your Ag of choice, but I haven't seen any recent
applications. Is it still limited to production of FAb fragments? Does the
method still hold enough promise that it is under development?
