Hi.

The EtBr runs the OPPOSITE way ! Thats why you see that the gel after the
run is brighter in the half with the wells. If you have very small
fragments, it is possible to add some EtBr at the bottom of the gel ( in
the running buffer) and it will pass your fragments on its way through the
gel.
