stripping Northern blots

We use Hybond-N for Northern blots and strip using 0.1X SSC and 0.1% SDS (boiling,
poured over blots and put on shaker to cool). How do you fix the RNA on the blot
prior to probing? We crosslink with UV and bake for 30 min. at 80C.
