Registry for Abs, DNA/RNA probes, etc.

I am interested to know if there is a desire by the scientific community
that subscribes to this newsgroup to have a web site registry for products
produced in the lab i.e. antibodies, molecular probes (DNA/ RNA) plasmids
and constructs, purified proteins, etc. . 

It seems that when someone is interested in locating a particular
antibody, bacterial strain, plamsid contruct or probes etc. and cannot
obtain it commercially, it becomes a challenge to eventually get their
hands on it.
