I just got in the mail some ifnormation on  a new directory called "LAB
SEARCH" that does just that. They plan to include a summarized information
on non-commercial reagents, cell lines, antibodies, plasmids, probes,
primers etc available from other academic labs.  This directory in print
form will be made available to all Free of charge. I think it is a good
idea.  The deadline for abstracts is December 15, 1995 and I encourage all
labs to participate in this although I do not like the idea that one needs
to pay $15 per abstract (they could have charged the users).
