cDNA size fractionation

I am making a cDNA library and trying to decide the method for size
fractionation and purification from adaptors of cDNA. The most used method
seems to be Sephacrel column, but I'm wondering about gel purification. It's
easier to use and I would assume cause less damage to DNA because there is no
radioactive labeling. Can anybody give me an idea which is better in terms of
yield, purity of the cDNA and damage to the cDNA?

Thanks a lot.

I'd appreciate if you could send me a E-mail at yu_x at bms.com.
