Micro-isolation of DNA from semen

Does any one have an excellent procedure for micro-isolation of DNA samples 
from semen?  A good procedure from a forensics lab would be most helpful.  Our 
semen samples are in old cotton plugs and there may not be much to work with. 
In addition, the semen is probably dried and must be re-hydrated.
