EtBr in agarose gels vs. EtBr staining later

I always stain my gels after the run and reuse the stain which is kept in a 
plastic bottle in the dark.  I also *never* dispose of it.  When the stain 
ceases to adequately stain, I simply spike more conc. etbr in.
No fuss, no muss.
