I need to make minimal yeast dropout media. I have a recipe which calls for yeast nitrogen base w/o amino acids (Difco). I have on hand yeast nitrogen base w/o amino acids and ammonium sulfate. Will I need to add ammonium sulfate to the media, and if so, how much? This is my first experience working with yeast. I'd appreciate any help you could give me. Thanks.
