Software for PCR Primer Design & DNA Manipulations

Hi,

I'm interested in finding a program that allows one to design PCR primers as well
as import DNA sequences and manipulate them (ie search for sequences, RE map,
translate, align, etc.)  If a summary of such information is available in the FAQ
could someone please post it and/or e-mail it to me (tmhaupt at mit.edu).  I'd also
welcome individual suggestions.
