To give you some background, I have been working with a vitrogen solution,
which is Type I-III collagen disolved in 0.01M HCl. I am just trying
to develope a standard curve for the determination of protein content.
I have been working with an OPA flourescence, but this seems to crosslink
the collagen until it comes out of solution. I have tried adjusting the pH
of the reagent and salt content. Does anyone have any sugestions on a better
method or an idea to keep the collagen in solution? It is dificult to get
duplicate results.
