You could try just vortexing the membrane with TE and then amplifying the
supernatent after pelleting the membrane. You can try it. I have amplified DNA
from Nitrocellulose paper from an electroelution but that is it. Maybe the crosslinking of the
DNA to the membrane will cause you problems..... Do you have a positive control for your primers
or are you on a fishing expedition?
