I guess I'm a little confused by all this talk of unreliability. I wash
my plates in water, wipe them dry then spray on some 95% ethanol and
wipe that dry. I then sprinkle on a little Sigmacote and then spray on
a little water and wipe that dry. I do both plates and never have a
problem with bubbles or getting the gel on the plate I want.
