Sealing GFP coverslips

Anyone have anything clever for sealing coverslips with cells expressing green fluorescent protein?
That is, so they don't dry out and can be used on an inverted scope. I asked
Clontech but they had nothing useful to suggest, other than to caution against
nail poish or anything organic. Melted wax works, but is clunky to use and I worry
about frying cells at the edges of the slip.

Thanks.
