Is any one there to give some info on total RNA isolation from
potato tubers. As most people know RNA prep's are difficult due
to the high content of starch (ploysaccharides).
We have tried the Qiagen RNeasy Kit (for plant tissue) but the
spin column is 'closed' by the high content of starch present
in the homogenate.
I am looking for a convenient method for routine isolation of
total RNA from potato tubers.
Thank you in advance, Lutz
