Hi,
Have a look in "Current protocols in molecular biology" page 10.6.5. I always
use this protocols which does not take longer than 30 min. to get an excellent
staining of either protein or nucleic acid. It is based on Bloom et al. 1987.
Electrophoresis 8:93-99.
