Dear Carla,
We have just hit a similar problem when printing onto a HP1200C/PS
via our Power Mac 6100/60.
We get  error:timeout   whenever we start printing a set of data
via the sample file queue.
It can be cleared by accepting the OK and eventually everything
prints out. It is however very slow in spooling to the disk, much
slower than the Mac IIci that is on the 373A.
