In-situ PCR compared with in-situ hybridization

We belive that we have managed to improve our in-situ hybridization teckniques
since we are able to detect SiHa cells with HPV probes. We have no tested 
in-situ PCR for some time, but we do not get better results than with 
in-situ hybridization. Have somebody realy tested a longer series with different
parallell sections on both in-situ PCR and in-situ Hybridization?
