TAE or TBE

My two EuroCredits on the TBE vs. TAE issue:

both will work fine, but:

1. TAE has a lower buffering capacity than TBE. This might be a problem if
your gel tank has a low buffer volume.

2. If isolating a restiction fragment from a gel for cloning purposes, use
TAE (TBE will give lower cloning yields, depending on your clean-up
procedure)
