losing my plasmid

Try switching to DH5-alpha.....I had lots of problems with xl1-blue 
cells when I was cloning DNA (non-promoter) that contained repeats....I 
know repetitive DNA is notorious for giving problems when cloning...but 
the switch to DH5-alpha helped....
