pcr & random mutation

Hi there,

I'm looking for advice on how to make random mutations by PCR. Does anybody
have useful references, tips and ideas about how to do this??

Or if you know of better way to introduce random mutations, I would be
pleased to hear from you.

I want to express the proteins encoded by the mutated DNA afterwards,
and then select for the desired change.
