Because DDRT-PCR is very sensitive, you may be isolating single copy
mRNA.So,unless you have a screaming hot probe and enough RNA on the
Northern to swim in, you will never see a band on the autorad.
This of course is no help to you. We tried reverse Northerns but never
had much success. Try S1 nuclease protection kit by Ambion.
