Neomycin sulfate and G418

As a follow up to the gentamicin and G418 thread, can neomycin sulfate
substitute for G418 in mammalian cell lines such as CHO cells haboring
plasmids with the neo gene? If so does anyone have any rough comparisons
of the activities of these two drugs. For example, do you generally need
more neomycin sulfate to kill cells than G418?
