Promoter recognition and Alu masking

- Is there any software that automatically masks a repeated sequence (Alu,
Line, etc.) in a genomic nucleotide sequence.
It would be VERY useful to use it before running a search against DNA databases.

- Do you know any tool that scans a genomic sequence for the presence of
eucariotic promoter motifs (TATA and CAAT boxes,  binding sites for
transcription factors)?

There must be a server out there running this kind of analysis!!!
