Random hexamers (again)

Following my last post (5 mins ago) I now wonder if I was talking complete 
sense since I THINK I was talking about a single random hexamer and not a 
mixture of hexamers - not a terribly useful thing to do. I suppose the take 
home message I  am trying to get across is that I am very interested in the 
answers too - theoretical and practical (fudged) randomness!
