I want to do immunocytochmistry with sections of rabbit brains. What would be a bigger problem: if the primary antibody is generated in rabbits or if the secondary antibody is generated in rabbits? Assuming both are polyclonal antibodies. Are there tricks to reduce background if one of the antibodies is from rabbit? -fm
