In Situ Hybridization

Dear Netters:
I'm wondering if anyone has experience using the in situ hybr
protocol of Brigati et al. According to their article in J.
Clin. Lab Analysis (7:247-51, 1993), they can do colormetric
ISH in 90 min. Of course they use a microprobe staining
station from Fischer Scientific (cost ~$1500-2000). Does this
protocol really work? Any personal experience feedback will be
