Exo-Meth Sequencing

Hi netters,
some time ago a came across a paper about ExoMeth sequencing. It is
something like digesting a plasmid with exonuclease, then running
sequencing reactions with Meth-dCTP without oligo primer and then
cutting it putting it on the gel. This system looks rather smart for
sequencing big pieces but I have never read anything about it again.
So nobody seems to use this technique.

Did anybody of you try it?
