serum and HeLa

Hi netters,

Currently I have some problems with standardising the conditions for a cell
proliferation test on HeLa - cells.
To solve this problem I need all information I can get on the influence of 
the medium's serum content on the proliferation of HeLa - cells and 
especially on the influence on the DNA - synthesis.
So if anybody could suggest articles , reviews or books ,please post them 
or send me an E-mail - all suggestions are appreciated.
