Need DNA method for algae

I am trying to isolate DNA from Chlorella and other species of algae.
I have a few methods but 	 am looking for the least  toxic with the 
best yield and hopefully inexpensive.

I don't want to use phenol and I really wouold like to get away from 
chloroform and beta-mercaptoethanol.
