Hi Everybody -
I would like to hear about experiences with 5'RACE PCR cloning of cDNA ends,
since I isolated a couple of 5'-incomplete clones (as always??!)
from a library. My questions are:
- Does it work generally well?
- For what max. size of the missing 5'end does it still work ?
- Is it better to make your own 5'-RACE cDNA (using a kit?) or
to buy premade stuff from a company (Clontech) ?
- What about mistakes due to PCR ampification?
