In situ PCR of bacteria? Anyone with experience of this?

Trying to find out if anyone has had any success with in situ PCR
detection of DNA in Gram(-)ve bacteria.  Or even if you have tried it and
failed,  that might be worthwhile knowing.  Please email replies to Jo
