RE: Membrane spanning regions

GCG has PEPTIDESTRUCTURE which can be helpfull in this context. However, in
EGCG you will find PEPWINDOW which not only offers the standard averaging
window hydropathy plot, but actaully has a MESH cascade which depicts median
values which is quite usefull in identifing membrane spanning regions. The
metod was describes originaly by Bangham J.A. Analytical Biochemistry 174,
142-145 (1988) 'Data-Sieving Hydrophobicity Plots'. Furthermore, you will
also find PEPALLWINDOW which will accept a MSA formatted file as input.
