RnaseH digestion?

Hi folks,

Has anybody had experience that  if the total RNA was treated with RNaseH,
what will happen to 28s rRNA and 18s rRNA? Specifically will
they still be two bands on the gel ? Or there will be some sorts of
digestions
occuring due to the secondary structure of rRNA, which will result in a
smear
on the gel?
