I would vote not to split this group. I work in molecular biology and as 
you all know, many of the techniques are inter-related or build upon each 
others. Besides, there have been times when I will read another fellow's 
post and begin thinking about a problem or a method in a way that I have 
not done so in the past. 

Please don't split this. One final plea, I have a poor news feed and 
well, I will never get the new groups. ....
