I tried to use RANzol B from Biotecx to isolate total RNAs from Xenopus
embryos. I followed the protocal come with the product. I homogenized
the embryos in RNAzol B solution, extracted it with 1/10 of chloroform,
and precipitated RNA in the aqueous phase with same volume of
isopropanol. I found a whole lot of white precipitate (solid, looked
like salt) that ware hard to be disolved again (even at 60¡C).
Hope to hear some peoples' opinions.
