in my old lab, we used to just stick the syringes in a 1-2L beaker of dH2O
and when it was full we would wash them 1x in Alconox (or other lab
detergent) and then 3 washes in dH2O followed by autoclaving. no
cross-contamination problems ever showed up. (which is not to say that
it's not possible, they just never happened.)
don't know about re-using the column filters but i don't think i would try.
